Another sport activity that can carry over into adulthood is tennis. We know a homeschool family with 8 children (ages 6-20) that plays tennis together ever afternoon. And my 79-year-old father-in-law still plays regularly. And golf would be another one--if you walk instead of using a cart! For upper body strength archery can be a lifelong hobby.
